Professional Services Consultant
You will be a member of our newly formed consulting group that delivers customized
solutions to our end user customers. You will become an expert in the use of
our S4i Express, S4i Express WebView, fax server products and the installation
and modification of our Ascent Capture products.
Common duties include:
- documenting the scope of customer projects (needs assessment) and then
designing a solution,
- understanding and documenting the interrelationships with 3rd party applications
- acting as our onsite project manager
- implement solutions and quality assurance
As a Senior Consultant, you will install S4i Express on IBM iSeries Computers,
install and customize S4i Express WebView under the WebSphere or TomCat application
server running on a I5/OS, LINUX or Windows operation system.
You will install and customize (utilizing Visual Basic, COM and OCXs) complex
Ascent Capture and Ascent Capture Internet Server sites, and train users on
the system’s operation.
Qualified applicants must have experience supporting and customizing large
software applications. All candidates must possess a thorough technical foundation
in current information systems technology with deep knowledge of PC operating
systems, databases, networks, Java, application servers and applications.
At minimum, 2 years professional programming experience in a visual environment,
Visual Basic, C++ and Java is a must. Knowledge of current programming techniques
including use of JSPs, XML, SQL, COM, DCOM and ActiveX/OCX are required. A
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is desirable along with 2+ years
of successful prior experience in development, customer support or consulting.
Travel could be 25%.
