Technology Sales Account Manager 

As an Account Manager you must meet sales and service production targets and broaden S4i Systems’ geographic and vertical market penetration. Successful AM candidates will build relationships with VP and Director level IT professional, as appropriate, as well as with other key IT influencers. All candidates must be proven self-starters with a high level of self-sufficiency and the ability to build successful relationships with decision-makers within corporate IT and end user departments.

Responsibilities:

•  Capitalize on existing leads generated through a variety of avenues including web based inquiries, telemarketing leads
   and those of established customer relationships by expanding opportunities
•  Target, prospect and qualify new sales opportunities
•  Establish and develop a team-based account strategy to facilitate closing sales opportunities
•  Engage appropriate team members to ensure a success project implementation

Key Skills:               

•  Familiarity of B2B business software applications
•  Strong technical background in one or more of the following areas:

•  Electronic Document Management, Electronic Content Management, Document Imaging or Workflow
•  Proven ability to document potential customer requirements
•  Consistently meet or exceeds sales performance goals
•  Proven sales expertise in System i/iSeries software industry
•  Aggressive hunter that is independent and inspired by results
•  Ability to listen/identify customer’s need and present feasible solutions
•  Proven expertise in solution sales methodology on the enterprise level
•  Highly self-sufficient and have strong interpersonal skills
•  Able to manage multiple priorities effectively
•  Detailed oriented

Education:

•  BS/BA

Experience:

•  Must have 5+ years of experience with software solution selling (EDM, ECM)
•  Prior experience building successful relationships with key IT executives department managers/directors and technical
   evaluator
•  Prefer experience with a technology solutions requiring close coordination between sales, pre-sales support and
   professional
services.

Prefer technical background in software environments
